Sex with Jenna: Dating Show
“Community lifting, educational, funny as f*ck show”
About the Dating Show
Tired of Tinder? Hating Hinge? Fumbling on Bumble? Time to try something new and brave. Come watch or compete in classic dating games to find a match and win prizes. Dating in a small city is hard enough. Let’s make dating more FUN and EFFECTIVE. Everyone is welcome to attend, learn, build loving community, practice vulnerability, and apply to be on the show!
About the show format:
I’m bringing back the classic Dating Game show from the 1960s. One “dater” and three contestants are hidden from one another. The dater asks the contestants a series of questions to determine who may be their best match. There will be two groups (at least one queer). Gift card dates will be awarded to the winning pairs. There will also be some interactive games, sex education, and mingling opportunities for partnered & single audience members to play, connect, and win prizes. Everyone has a chance to find new connections, and flirting is supported and encouraged! The games and questions will range from sincere to unhinged. This is a live dating comedy show, after all… let’s have FUN!
How to apply to be on the show:
Apply here by Jan. 19th – spots are limited! After you apply, I will do my best to create matches for the live dating show. Chosen participants get into the show for free and have the chance to match with fellow singles and win date prizes. All identities (straight/ queer/ young/ older) and relationship structures (monogamous/ polyamorous/ open) are encouraged to apply! Never know who may be in the applicant pool waiting to date you…
About the producer/host:
I’m Jenna, a Master’s level, AASECT-certified sexuality educator who has worked in the sex ed field for over 10 years and as a comedian for nearly 20 years. I was a college professor teaching human sexuality and relationships, and have coached many adults in finding and building healthy romantic relationships. I started matchmaking young, setting up my best friend who married her high school sweetheart. I am a bisexual queer woman in my mid-30s who has A LOT of experience with dating & The Apps (the good, the bad, and the ugly). Dating can be TOUGH and discouraging, so I want to make the process more fun and effective for my community. Let’s cut through the BS and earnestly try to find genuine connections in these trying times.
